Sunday was Mother's Day. A day which all over mothers were honored. If you fell in this category you were probally showered with cards, flowers, and extra love. Maybe your children even were extra well-behaved. Your husband might have taken care of the dishes that day, without being asked. Well according to Exodus 20:12 and later in Ephesians 6:1-3 we are told to "obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother"—which is the first commandment with a promise— "that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth." So, make sure you are giving them (moms and dads) the extra bit of love and respect they deserve, not just on appointed holidays.
